Conical shooters will experience greater accuracy and consistency when using Bullseye Wads as the Felt Wad protects the fragile base of the bullet from gasses that can often cut around the base of the bullet, causing erratic velocity, groups and leading in the bore.

RARE: Forster Muzzleloaders Kit .50cal - Free Shipping:
New Old Stock, Forster Products Muzzle Loaders kit comprising of a 50 cal Short starter, heavy steel spring loaded patch cutter, wood loading block which is designed to be place on the muzzle during loading with ball and patch, lanyard and full instructions, all boxed. These were available back in the 80's and 90's but I believe Forster stopped production due to the high cost of manufacture. This is heavy and over engineered bit of kit you won't find in the shops now, beautifully made to last a lifetime. Using a pre cut patch, place the lubed patch over the loading block, the block is recessed to align the patch perfectly center when you insert the ball and seat it into the wooden block. You'll get a perfectly centered load each time, resulting in better accuracy on the range as the patch will not be thicker on one side as what happens when normally loading a patched ball into the muzzle.
The patch cutter will save you tons of money and give you something fun to do on a cold winter day or covid lock down. Buy your favorite patch material and cut them yourself with ease! Cutter can be resharpened with a sharpening stone when dull. Use a hard, smooth wood block and place patch material over this when cutting patches.
Short Starter: the ball starter is deisgned to be used with the loading block. It has a bushing which aids in supporting the starter rod in line withthe block and barrel so loading the block is much simpler. The bishing also protects the muzzle during the ball starting provedure when done without the block.

With more and more updates BRAVE seems to be getting buggier! So you may want experiment until they get the damned thing right. We like the privacy part of it, but if it keeps locking up and show a website completely goofy, well, it may just go the way of the dinosaur! We'll give it another 6 months and if they can't work out the bugs, we'll go back to FIREFOX!UPDATE: We could not justify going another 6 months trial! The Brave Browser is so buggy it is just not worth the trouble of using it. It locks up our computers, rearranges the layout of other web sites, highlight the entire web site data, etc. It is just to BUGGY to bother with!! FIREFOX IS OUR #1 CHOICE!!
