Frontier's - Bullseye Wads are used over the powder and under the patched round ball or conical bullet to help seal gasses and protect the Patch ( Round Ball shooters ) from the hot gasses and flame from the powder charge. Conical shooters will experience greater accuracy and consistency when using Bullseye Wads as the Felt Wad protects the fragile base of the bullet from gasses that can often cut around the base of the bullet, causing erratic velocity, groups and leading in the bore.

• .50cal rolling block with 209 ignition. Beautiful high figure walnut stock, clean crisp trigger, deep rich bluing. Some minor scratches here and there on the wood. Bore is beautiful.
• I am pretty sure this is a 1:24 twist. I did the ramrod trick and come up with 1:24 - 1:26 depending how I measure it.
• Barrel length is 25 1/4" / 1" diameter.
• You will NOT ever find one of these again, especially with the upgraded wood.
• Super easy to clean. Remove the side plate stamped with the #48, push the 2 large pins out and the rolling block and hammer all come out easily for cleaning.

Schools are scanning fingerprints and this Mumsnet user isn't happy!

This week, a concerned parent has taken to the popular forum Mumsnet to ask fellow users how they feel about their children being scanned. In the post, the Mum of two wrote:

“Currently, the school has a system of using key cards in order to get into the buildings and to buy lunch... The school wants to move to a fingerprint recognition system from September... Apparently, the actual fingerprint image won't be stored, but instead an algorithm based on unique points which have been taken from the image of the fingerprint.

I can't quite say why I am uncomfortable with this but I am... am I being unreasonable to refuse to allow it?"

All over the world, schools are opting to use biometric fingerprint scanning in order to allow kids to securely enter school campuses, buildings, and even to get their school lunches. However, there is growing alarm amongst parents that those scans may be a cause for concern.

The constant onslaught of media coverage of Facebook scandals, hacking events, and the spread of facial recognition technology in public places is causing people to realize that data privacy will impact future generations. This is making some parents wonder what exactly the repercussions of allowing biometric scans in schools could be.

5 Eyes, 9 Eyes, 14 Eyes – Explained

The terms “5 Eyes“, “9 Eyes“, and “14 Eyes” often appear in the privacy community, especially when discussing VPNs.

In short, these are just international surveillance alliances representing various countries around the world. These surveillance alliances work together to collect and share mass surveillance data. In other words, they are essentially acting as one global-surveillance entity to spy on you and record your activities.

In this guide we’ll explain the different “X” eyes surveillance alliances and why this topic is important when choosing a VPN service or any other privacy tool.

Five Eyes

The Five Eyes (FVEY) surveillance alliance includes:

• Australia
• Canada
• New Zealand
• United Kingdom
• United States

The history of this alliance goes all the way back to WWII and the UKUSA Agreement. This agreement officially formalized a partnership between the United Kingdom and United States for sharing intelligence. The partnership continued throughout the Cold War and has only strengthened following the “War on Terror” and subsequent “terrorist” events.

Edward Snowden brought renewed focus to the Five Eyes surveillance alliance in 2013 when he exposed the surveillance activities of the US government and its allies.
